  Great Sell-Off is for the Expansion Work in Africa

  they say this sell off is for the need to build more kh.

  however the branch accounting video that was leaked shows otherwise.. is there a way to find out how many halls are constructed in africa and other places to show the money trail is to pay for child abuse cases and not new halls.?.

  1,000 new kingdom mudhalls at $25,000 each will cost $25 million. i cant see the watchtower writing a cheque for that amount though.

  Do You See JWs Going From House to House Anymore?

  i used to see them in my neighborhood or while driving.

  there is a hispanic congregation nearby.

  i used to see witnesses out all the time, some even doing the slow pioneer shuffle.

  Come to think of it..not this year. The street i live on used to get worked often..ive had several long discussions on my doorstep

  only saw a couple of new faces.

  so it looks like once again the invitation work was a complete failure and relatives of jw's couldn't be talked into coming anymore!.

  so my husband who was not attending meetings for the last four months, went to the special talk, the memorial and the meeting today.

  he said he feels jehovah’s spirit is back and that they are all being so kind.. i am just sick to my stomach.

  he just refuses to see anything as a problem.

  i must be missing something.

  youve both been dubs for many years--youve had enough--and quit. he is still dithering. dont make a big deal out of it. if your marriage is still good in all other departments, just put up with this phase hes going through--it could be a lot worse--like if you were the devout one and he was really opposed--think what life would be like for you then.

  i got the impression a lot in the audience were unaware of what was going on. just sat there--switched off....so thats normal then. sit there--stupified..not taking anything in..till the closing prayer--then they know its over.

  the hardest part for them is trying to stay awake. those chairs look too comfortable.

  I almost wonder just how many submarines there are? Do they consider themselves as jws? Its nothing new..i knew lots who only showed up for the nisan 14 bash..50 years ago.. wannabe armageddon survivors
